![]() IRELAND: The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) is to auction of a genuine Rolex seized in 2012 in an online auction tomorrow. CAB will use the online auction site, eBay to sell the Daytona timepiece that is expected to make around €76,000. The news comes on the same day that a CAB report shows that they returned more than €7.2 million to the Exchequer in 2012. Almost €5 million of that total came direct from criminal activity. The rest from Revenue and social welfare provisions. Commenting on the report, released today, Justice Minister, Alan Shatter said: "Again we see the considerable powers of the Criminal Assets Bureau being brought to bear on those who seek to live off the ill-gotten gains of criminal activity". EBAY AUCTION The watch is to go on sale on eBay from tomorrow afternoon until 20 April under item number 141250241133 with the seller name 'proceedsofcrimeact1996'
