![]() A total of 167 new jobs are on the way across Counties Cork and Dublin. RTE News reports that the jobs will fall across the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector, medical technology, financial services and digital media. Sixty of the jobs will be created by 10gen when they establish their European headquarters in the capital, while Loop1 Systems is to create a further 17 new jobs in Cork. These positions will include sales, customer support and technical and professional services roles. Cork has also secured a further 70 jobs across two companies, with Whitehouse Analytical Labs choosing the city as the location for its latest expansion, that will see 35 positions come on line. The remaining 35 positions will come on board at IMSTec GmbH, at a planned new research and manufacturing centre in the City. Dublin is set to gain 20 new jobs, as PE Lynch, a producer of algorithmic trading software for banks and brokers, is to establish its European headquarters in the city. Meanwhile, another company, Etsy Inc, an online marketplace for handmade and vintage items, has announced it is to establish a new Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dublin.
