A Great White Shark sighting is the latest episode to keep Stinson Beach in the news headlines in San Francisco.
The beach will be closed to swimmers following the sighting of the 10-15 foot shark yesterday afternoon.
Over the last few days the Marin County beach has witnessed a plethora of activity.
Recently a young Fin Whale lost its life after becoming stranded on the popular beach, and last week saw a salmon shark become marooned in a different location on the same beach.
The beach is now expected to be closed to swimmers until Sunday following the sighting by people on the shore, lifeguards and a fishing vessel.
